Technology-Assisted Review
Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) is a process that can greatly trim down your e-discovery review time. Simply tag a portion of your documents, training the system to recognize tagging patterns. Once trained, relevant tags are applied to terabytes of documents in an amount of time that far surpasses human review capabilities. Use Liquid Lit Manager’s™ TAR to pinpoint your responsive documents more quickly and have it auto-generate quality control review sets based on statistical sampling. This way your top attorneys can spend their valuable time with the documents that matter most. Begin TAR by tagging either a judgmental or statistical sampling of documents. Our tool is based on research from the most recent and significant court decisions and developed with the most powerful algorithms available.
Clustering
Clustering functionality further augments the quality and efficiency of review. Liquid Lit Manager™ uses sophisticated algorithms to organize documents into conceptually similar groups. The resulting clusters are displayed in a number of ways, including a two-dimensional, interactive graph, which indicates the size of a cluster, its relationship to other clusters, and key words or concepts for each cluster. Our user-friendly design allows you to see embedded content as you hover over a cluster, avoiding the need to click and back track. Easily identifies pertinent groups of documents and lets you assign more focused review sets. Experience improved review efficiency and reduced case management costs.
Discovery Portal + Reporting
Displays high-level overview of review progress through discovery sets. Its easy-to-use reporting feature supports graphical reporting as well as more traditional, tabular reports, making it simple to share information and documents. The summary–at-a-glance Discovery Portal allows you and your team to monitor and communicate the case progress. Experience total ease of use and labor efficiency.
Concept Search
Review is not always a linear process. A key document discovered during review may lead a user to look for documents with similar concepts. Reviewers are rapidly connected to related documents through the “More Like This” feature and concept search capabilities by phrase or passage. Experience fast issue resolution and a proactive, intelligent solution that makes your job easier.
Review Sets
We understand that minimizing review time is crucial. An administrator can easily create review sets based on search criteria, and work can be allocated equitably amongst the review team by document count, page count, and numerous other criteria. Reviewers’ progress can easily be tracked. Administrators can also take advantage of productivity reporting, such as how many documents are being reviewed per hour, per person. Reviewers have the flexibility to tag documents in bulk and to flag emails and their attachments together. Experience the power of efficient review for efficient time management.
Review / Redaction
Reviewers can quickly examine documents and apply Quick-Notes tags or text notes. Quick-Notes can be color coded by issue, such as privileged, to help users review and apply tags as fast as possible. Users can save their work and advance to the next document by simply clicking one button.
The Near-Native File Review feature allows users to open a document in its original file format, including documents created in Excel or Word. This is particularly advantageous when seeking behind-the-scenes information in documents, such as formulas in spreadsheets.
Users can redact confidential or privileged information from all case files and documents with the Redaction Tool in Liquid Lit Manager™. We make sure that a redacted document is unsearchable by removing the text layer completely.
Experience efficient review and secure redaction.
Produce
Liquid Lit Manager™ features the ability to electronically Bates-stamp production sets through an easy-to-use interface. This intelligent, flexible and fully automated tool allows users to specify characteristics of each stamp, including prefix/suffix, placement, increment and additional text. Users can also create sophisticated Bates stamping rules based on Quick-Notes designations through our simple drag-and-drop interface. Stamping is completed online so there is no need to pull down the documents, Bates stamp, and then re-post the Bates-stamped version of the files… saving you time.
Deliverables for opposing counsel can be prepared in any format (single-page TIFF, Multi-page TIFF, PDF or native) along with any desired load file. The end product can be delivered over secure FTP, disk, hard drive or hard copy. Experience the ease of automated production.
Search
Created for the way you work: the platform’s highly intuitive nature makes it easy to perform any task necessary. Our search tool helps you find your documents swiftly and accurately with the use of Boolean, proximity, fuzzy, wildcard, keyword expansion, natural language and concept search features. There is no limit to the number of criteria utilized in a given search. Users can also search 162 languages, including Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. Our search engine was designed with speed in mind and can regularly deliver even the most complex search results in seconds. Experience better, faster, more thorough search capability.
We also offer concept search capabilities which allow users to go beyond linear, keyword searching and, instead, search by concepts. Concept search focuses on key words and their context within documents, giving more meaning to your search results. Rather than simply searching the word “woman” and pulling up only documents containing that word, concept search will pull documents containing “dress”, “girl”, “feminine”, etc. Key words or entire passages can be searched to find conceptually similar documents. The “More Like This” feature in Liquid Lit Manager™ allows users to find conceptually similar documents alongside the document they are reviewing. These documents can then be foldered and reviewed together, making review more meaningful.
Case Documents
With Liquid Lit Manager™ you can review opposing counsel’s production in the same program you review and produce your own files. Just as with discovery documents, administrators can divvy up files amongst reviewers. Reviewers can add their own tags and notes to documents to help identify key documents to be used in preparing your case B. Experience the simplicity of easy case comparison.
BinderBuilder™ and Organization
The revolutionary BinderBuilder™ is an extraordinary feature of Liquid Lit Manager™ and an indispensable tool for attorneys. Experience better time management and total case management efficiency.
