Discovery Set

When documents are loaded in Liquid Discovery Manager™ they are organized into logical discovery sets to streamline review. Discovery sets can be sorted by custodian, collection source or any other category fitting for your case. Liquid Discovery Manager™ enables a consistent approach to discovery requests and production sets, while being flexible enough to adapt to each firm's work style. Users are able to easily track the review process at a glance on one simple screen. When producing documents, users can arrange production sets, define bates ranges and create privilege logs.

Review Set

We understand that minimizing review time is crucial. An administrator can easily create review sets based on search criteria, and work can be allocated equitably amongst the review team by document count, page count, and numerous other criteria. Reviewers’ progress can easily be tracked. Administrators can also take advantage of productivity reporting, such as how many documents are being reviewed per hour, per person. Reviewers also have the flexibility to tag documents in bulk and to code parent/child documents together.

Review — Notation/Redaction

Reviewers can quickly examine documents and apply quick-notes/issue tags or text-notes. Quick-notes are color coded by issue, such as privileged, to help users review and apply tags as fast as possible. Users can advance to the next document by simply clicking Save & Next or Next.

The View Native File feature allows users to open a document in its original file format, including documents created in Excel or Word. This is particularly advantageous when seeking behind-the-scenes information in documents, such as formulas in spreadsheets.

Users can redact confidential or privileged information from all case files and documents with the Redaction Tool in Liquid Discovery Manager™. It is an essential, valuable and time-saving feature for cases of all sizes.

Produce

Liquid Discovery Manager™ features the ability to electronically bates-stamp production sets through an easy-to-use interface. This intelligent, flexible and fully automated tool allows users to specify characteristics of each stamp, including prefix/suffix, placement, increment and additional text. Users can also create sophisticated bates stamping rules based on flag designations through our simple drag and drop interface. Stamping is completed on-line, so there is no need to pull down the documents, Bates stamp and then re-post the Bates-stamped version of the files… saving you time.

Deliverables for opposing counsel can be prepared in any format (single-page TIFF, Multi-page TIFF, PDF or native) along with any desired load file. The end product can be delivered over secure FTP, disk, hard drive or hard copy.

Search

Liquid Discovery Manager™ search is integrated with Liquid Lit Manager™ and utilizes that same robust search engine that allows users to find documents quickly and accurately with the use of Boolean, proximity, fuzzy, wildcard and natural language search features. There is no limit to the number of criteria utilized in a given search. Users also have the power to search 162 different languages, including Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. Extended support, such as word stemming, is available for 32 languages… including all of the aforementioned.

Production

With Liquid Litigation Management, Inc.’s product suite you can review opposing counsel’s production in the same program you review and produce your files. Just as with discovery documents, administrators can divvy up files amongst reviewers. Reviewers can add tags and notes to documents to help identify key documents to be used in preparing your case.

Organize — BinderBuilder™ — My Folders

The revolutionary BinderBuilder™ is an extraordinary feature of Liquid Lit Manager™ and an indispensable tool for attorneys. BinderBuilder™ allows users to compile and sort documents and data into useful groups for witness, deposition and hearing preparation — in a fraction of the time of traditional methods. Imagine compiling documents instantly into a single PDF to be filed electronically with the court, shared among users or printed for attorney review, either individually or by the batch.

In addition to BinderBuilder™ users can organize documents in folders. Users have the ability to create subfolders and also assign various security levels… as can be done with BinderBuilder™.

Transcript Management

Within Liquid Lit Manager™ you can manage all of your deposition, hearing and trial transcripts. All related exhibits can easily be linked and viewed alongside the transcript for optimal convenience.

Witness Pages™

This feature automatically pulls documents relating to a given witness to one central location. This includes a witness’ deposition transcripts, related exhibits, expert report, declarations, and hearing/trial testimony. It eliminates the need for witness binders in hard copy, or for a user to click on each of these categories to find related information.
