Third release touts performance improvements and user-requested functionality
Austin, Texas (June 26, 2013) Liquid Litigation Management, Inc. (LLM) has released the latest version of their Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) feature set. TAR is an advanced technology that automates the categorization of legal documents based on iterative human training. LLM has pulled in clustering – a technology that groups similar document concepts together – and combined it with the TAR workflow. Review administrators can now elect to use clustering as part of the initial rounds of TAR. This provides a more refined distribution of seed set documents, giving both the administrator and the TAR technology a broader representation of the varying kinds of documents in the case and allowing the system to more efficiently train itself, which in turn leads to less time spent reviewing.
Along with combining clustering, LLM has added the ability for users to resume training from previous TAR jobs. This becomes beneficial when performing rolling loads of data as it saves time by decreasing the amount of review iterations needed in order to reach a level of administrator-approved accuracy.
The third release of TAR also includes support for multiple rounds of quality control, customizable views, and advances to the reporting page. Users are now able to take a deeper dive into their data by directly accessing the list of results from any iteration of review — from the parameters set up at the beginning of the case to later decisions.
